10-year warranty

10-year warranty conditions for titanium frames and 5-year warranty for titanium spare parts

  1. warranty scope
    JP Bikes GmbH provides a 10-year warranty on titanium frames and a 5-year warranty on titanium spare parts against defects in materials and workmanship from the date of sale. The warranty applies exclusively to the original purchaser and is not transferable. It only covers defects that occur during proper use and normal use.

  2. warranty claim and conditions
    The original purchase receipt (invoice) is required to claim the guarantee. The customer must prove that the defect occurred within the guarantee period. Without proof of purchase, the guarantee claim is void.

  3. Warranty services for titanium frames

    • First 7 years: If the warranty claim is justified, JP Bikes GmbH will, at its own discretion, either repair the frame or replace it with an equivalent or comparable frame.

    • Years 8 to 10: If a material or workmanship defect occurs in the frame within this period, JP Bikes GmbH will provide the customer with a new frame with a 50% discount on the regular purchase price.

    • Exception: Dirt frame which has a 4 year warranty. Year 5: If a material or manufacturing defect occurs on the frame within this period, JP Bikes GmbH will provide the customer with a new frame with a 50% discount on the regular purchase price.

  4. Warranty services for Titan spare parts
    The warranty on Titan spare parts is 5 years. Within this period, defects will be remedied by repair or free replacement of the affected part, provided the warranty claim is justified.

  5. Warranty Exclusions
    The warranty does not cover any damage, defects or faults caused by:

    • improper use or handling,

    • normal wear and tear,

    • Changes or modifications to the product,

    • external influences such as accidents, impacts, improper maintenance, moisture, extreme temperatures or chemical influences,

    • commercial or industrial use, provided that the product is intended for private use only.

  6. restrictions
    The guarantee is a voluntary service provided by JP Bikes GmbH and does not affect the customer's statutory warranty rights, which exist independently of the guarantee and can be claimed in addition.

  7. warranty claim process
    In the event of a warranty claim, the customer should contact JP Bikes GmbH at the contact address provided and describe the defect in detail. The product must be securely packaged and sent to the address provided. The customer is responsible for the shipping costs to the service center; the return costs are covered by JP Bikes GmbH as part of the warranty.

  8. limitation of liability
    The liability of JP Bikes GmbH is limited to the repair or replacement of the product. Further claims, in particular claims for damages, are excluded unless the damage is due to intent or gross negligence on the part of JP Bikes GmbH.
